Artist's Bio

Rob Chester was born in Independence, Missouri in 1978. He enjoyed drawing from an early age, and in High School began to paint. He attended Central Missouri University, studied abroad in the Netherlands, and received his BFA in 2001. He lived in Kansas City before joining the Peace Corps, with which he was able to travel and teach in Asia for two years. He currently lives as an artist and graphic designer in Washington DC.
